Thank you for visiting. My name is Jerry Weatherly and this beautiful lady is my wife, Glenda.

I was born in the American south,  in the Appalachian foothills of northeast Mississippi to sharecropper parents. As a child I was influenced by Bible Belt teachings about the Lord Jesus Christ. Poverty, alcohol, divorce, violence and death were also a cruel taskmaster.

My exposure to music began as an 8 year old, in the 1960s, listening to the Grand Old Opry on a little portable radio in a rented shack in a corner of a cotton patch

The expression of life’s struggles, sorrows, hopes and disappointments were all there, pouring out of that little am radio, from Nashville, Tennessee.

Gospel music. Country music. Shaping a future for singers, writers and musicians.

Hopefully these songs will influence you to call on the Lord Jesus.
